Jungle weekend
When the first week of lectures, mentors and working was done, we headed out of the city to see another side of our new home. We packed our bags and laptops and went straight to the jungle, where the monkeys and crocodiles are the main characters of the game.
As sleepy teams arrived to the bus at 7AM for their adventure they didn’t realize it’s not only an exploration of the rainforest. We had Juha Huhtakallio with his 20 years of experience as a programmer, creative writer and a drummer (!) as a secret mentor. During the workshops in the middle of the national park with snakes and varans just minding their own business teams where pushed to step out of their comfort zone and see how differently it all can work.

During the weekend out of office and away from internet some teams learned how to play as a team during bamboo rafting, others changed the theme of their game, someone lost and found his iPad with all the art work, a few of us ruined their cameras in heavy rain and some even fell from the boat into the river.
However, there was zero complains and after all everyone was looking fresh and reborn.
I guess only some of the monkeys were not happy with us coming to their territory since they tried to scare us away in their own monkey way (check out the video).
